Zeynep Acar, a graduate of the Marmara University Faculty of Law, is also member of the
OKTAR & OKTAR team, which she joined in 2008 – the same year as her enrollement in the Istanbul Bar Association. Since 2023 she is also a mediator.

Acar provides our clients expert services in all fields of intellectual and industrial property rights, including legal remedy in all processes at TURKPATENT concerning trademarks/patents/industrial designs/geographical indications and in any kind of litigation related to the acquisition and protection of these rights. Further, she is also active in drafting settlement, license and co-existence agreements regarding the mentioned fields of law.

She possesses extensive experience in portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy particularly for trademarks.

Acar is fluent in English and German. She is also a sworn translator for the German language.
